Fixed: meta description truncated mid-word and prefixed with "Keyword."

• Generation prompt now requests a dedicated meta_description field (130–155 chars, complete sentence, keyphrase once, no prefix).
• set_seo() uses that field when valid; fallback uses mb_* word-boundary truncation ≤155 chars ending in a period. Never prepends Keyword.. Keyphrase is only added when it fits naturally.
• og:description (Rank Math / Yoast Twitter/Facebook) now uses the same string as the meta description.
• Reusable helper extracted to includes/klusto-meta-description.php.

Fixed: broken placeholder image appearing in post body

AI-inserted filler images are now automatically removed; only Klusto-placed real images remain.

"Editor's opinion" box now included in all posts

The author reflection box was previously added only to topic-cluster posts. It now appears on standalone daily posts as well. Applies to newly generated posts.

Fixed: stray "nn" text appearing in post content

A formatting artifact from the AI response could scatter nn throughout paragraphs. It is now stripped automatically before publishing.

Fewer failed posts due to AI formatting errors

Malformed escaped quotes — the most common cause of generation failures — are now repaired locally on the fly, without requiring a retry.

AI model now updatable without a plugin update

The active AI model is managed centrally on the license server. If Anthropic deprecates a model, Klusto picks up the replacement automatically on the next license validation. Custom Opus selections are preserved.

More reliable generations: reduced formatting errors

Typographic quotes are now used in prompts to reduce AI formatting errors at the source. Auto-correction timeout increased for additional recovery margin.

Fixed: retry timeout too short on long posts

The auto-correction retry on malformed AI responses now uses the same timeout budget as normal generation, recovering more long-post failures.

Fixed: generation failures after Claude Sonnet 4 deprecation

Anthropic retired Claude Sonnet 4 on 2026-06-15. Klusto now targets Claude Sonnet 4.6 and migrates existing configurations automatically on update.

Added: "Completed" box in the clusters list

Completed clusters now have their own count box and can be filtered in the cluster list view.

Fixed: cluster list filters not working

Clicking Total, Active, Paused, or Drafts now correctly filters the cluster list to that status.

Fixed: help banner not updating when switching tabs

The editor help banner now updates to match the active tab (Customer Journey vs. Content Ladder) instead of staying on the previous tab's instructions.

Added: delete clusters and filter the list

Each cluster now has a Delete button (with confirmation; published posts are not deleted). The status boxes (Total, Active, Paused, Drafts) are now clickable filters.

Step instructions now render inline correctly without line-broken bold fragments.

More robust generation on network errors

The plugin now retries automatically up to 3 times on API timeouts or transient network errors before marking a post as failed. Timeout raised from 120 s to 180 s.

Wizard step 7: granular schedule picker

The final onboarding step now lets you select specific days of the week and time for post publishing, with a live preview of the next 3 scheduled runs. Replaces the previous 3 fixed presets.

Fixed: accordion items appearing at the bottom of the queue

Expanding a cluster in the queue now shows its items immediately below that cluster row.

Queue redesigned with accordion and manual order support

The queue list now shows only the first post per cluster by default, with a chevron to expand. Dragging a cluster to the top causes its posts to fire first, overriding the global BOFU-first order.

Fixed: queue drag-and-drop order not persisting

Reordering the queue now saves correctly and survives page refresh. Only the first post of each cluster is draggable; moving it reorders the entire cluster.

Fixed: image generation failing in cron context

Required functions for Unsplash image downloads were not loaded when generation was triggered by the automatic cron. Now loaded correctly in all execution contexts.

Added: email alert on generation failure

When a post fails due to a critical error (API down, out of credits, etc.), an email is sent with the error detail, affected cluster, and resolution steps. Rate-limited to one alert per hour.

Fixed: all plugin buttons unresponsive

Generate Next Post, API key validation, modals, assistant, and cluster editor buttons were non-functional. All interactions restored.

More robust generation on malformed AI responses

Malformed quotes or irregular formatting in AI responses are now repaired automatically (with a correction request if needed) instead of aborting with an error.
