Refund policy
1. Our policy in brief
BMD Creatives, LLC offers a 14-day full refund guarantee from the date of your first purchase, no questions asked. This policy applies only to the initial purchase of any Klusto subscription plan.
2. Coverage
The refund guarantee covers:
- The total price paid for your first monthly or annual subscription.
- Any taxes collected by our Merchant of Record (Paddle) that are legally refundable.
3. Exceptions
The following are not covered by the guarantee:
- Renewals: only the initial purchase is refundable. Subsequent automatic renewals are non-refundable. To avoid unwanted charges, cancel the renewal from your customer panel before the billing date.
- API consumption on plans with API included: on Demo and Starter plans, where the Claude API is paid by BMD, costs already consumed during the period are non-refundable. For example: if you purchased a Starter plan and generated 5 posts before requesting a refund, the API cost corresponding to those 5 posts will be deducted proportionally.
- Suspensions for terms violation: if your account was suspended for breach of the Acceptable Use (spam, illegal content, service abuse, etc.), no refund will be issued.
- Purchases beyond 14 days: requests received after the 14-day window from the initial purchase.
4. How to request a refund
It’s simple. Just follow these steps:
- Send an email to get@klusto.ai with the subject “Refund request“.
- Include in the body:
- The email associated with your purchase.
- The order or invoice ID (received by email after purchase).
- Optional: reason for the refund (helps us improve, but not required).
- You’ll receive confirmation of receipt within 24 business hours.
5. Processing times
- Receipt confirmation: under 24 business hours.
- Refund approval: maximum 3 business days from request.
- Payment processing: 5-10 business days through Paddle (varies depending on your bank/payment method).
After approval, your access to Klusto is deactivated. If you want to resubscribe in the future, you can do so normally.
6. Refund method
The refund is issued to the same payment method used in the original purchase. If your card expired or changed, contact us to coordinate an alternative.
7. EU consumer rights
For consumer users residing in the European Union: this policy complements and does not replace the mandatory rights provided by Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, including the 14-day withdrawal right for distance purchases. If your jurisdiction grants more favorable terms or guarantees, those prevail.
The withdrawal right applicable to digital services may have exceptions when the service has begun to be provided with the consumer’s express consent before the deadline expires. In Klusto’s case, service consumption is considered initiated after the generation of the first post via AI.
8. Disputes and arbitration
If you are not satisfied with the resolution of your refund request, you may:
- Contact our Merchant of Record (Paddle) directly for mediation.
- Resort to the alternative dispute resolution platforms corresponding to your jurisdiction.
- For EU users: European Commission ODR Platform.
- Initiate judicial actions as established in our Terms and Conditions.
